I was born in Rome, GA where I lived until 2002. I graduated from Pepperell High School and went to Middle Tennessee State University.
I decided to become a teacher because I've always had a love of learning and enjoy working with children. I hope to touch the lives of all of my students and instill in them a desire to learn. I started teaching at Una Elementary in 2007.
I taught kindergarten for one year and 1st grade for the next three years. I am currently teaching 3rd grade.
I am the mother of two girls (Morgan and Caitlin) and one boy (Kyle). I am also the stepmother of a little girl (Victorya). I have a dog (Giblet) and a cat (Bootsie).
When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, listening to music, fishing, and spending time with my friends and family.
